Air Fryer Shrimp and Potatoes

Ingredients

Shrimp – fresh or frozen (7 to 10 shrimp per person)

Sweet potato (1 small per person)

White potato (1 small per person)

Salad or other vegetable to complete the meal

Avocado Oil

Seasonings (I use Tony Chachere’s Original, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder)

Directions

Defrost shrimp if frozen.

Preheat the  air fryer.

If cooking a vegetable also in the air fryer, cook the vegetable first.

To cook sweet potatoes and white potatoes, wash, peel, and slice. Lightly spray with avocado oil. Season to your liking.  I use Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Place potatoes in the air fryer. I use my air fryer preset temperature to cook.  It usually takes about 15 minutes for the potatoes, but make sure you check and toss potatoes every 5 minutes. I use the same procedure for most vegetables (the cooking time depends on the vegetable).

Season shrimp with avocado oil, garlic powder, and onion powder. Then, place the shrimp in the air fryer. Shrimp does not take long to cook, and the time depends on the size of the shrimp.  Check every 5 minutes. For a different taste that has a little sweetness, add a little toasted sesame oil to the shrimp before putting it in the air fryer.

Enjoy.
