Almost 2 years ago I made a significant change in my eating habits, and I am proud that I have been able to stay consistent with my decision. Dieting is so restrictive, and not many can stay on “a diet” for life. Diets can allow you lose weight, but typically when stopping that diet, all of the lost weight is sadly gained back. I know this from my own experience.

The 2B Mindset

The 2B Mindset nutrition plan is truly based on 4 principles:  drink water first thing in the morning and before everything you eat, consume veggies most, weigh, and track everything you put in your mouth. I have lost 34 pounds using this program.  I know that if I can do it, you can, too!

Water First

Drinking water is key to health. It keeps us full so that we can make better food choices. The 2B Mindset approach recommends that you should drink half of your weight in ounces of water minimum each day. With this program, you will soon see that the more water you drink, the more weight loss you will have.  I have found that an easy way to track my water intake is to prep my water bottles each day so that I know I have the amount that I need to drink.

Veggies Most

Vegetables keep us healthy. Eating veggies most keeps us full and satisfied if eaten a lot throughout the day. Adding more vegetables with every meal can lead to weight loss. The 2B Mindset nutrition plan follows the plate it method. I have found this method to be very easy to follow. At 57 years old, I have enjoyed trying easy recipes with vegetables that I have never eaten before.  The recipes are delicious!

Weigh

As part of the 2B Mindset program, the first thing you do in the morning is to weigh after you use the restroom. The scale is used only as a tool, and it will become your friend!  You have to get over the fear of stepping on understanding that it will help you. Weighing every morning will help you to figure out how certain foods react in your body.  We are all different, and certain foods react differently in each individual. It is amazing to learn how using the scale as a tool aids in weight loss.

Track

Tracking everything that you put in your mouth is very important. The tracker will show you what is working for you and what is not. When you purchase the 2B Mindset nutrition plan, you have access to a really nice tracker where you actually write in, and/or you can track in the BOD tracker app.  I – as your health coach – can help you analyze your tracker if you are not seeing the results that you wish.

Using the 2B Mindset, created by Ilana Muhlstein, is a healthy way of eating for life. Everyone will have “treats” every now and then. However,  I now know that I have a plan to follow that works – drinking water first, eating veggies most, weighing, and tracking.
